On this year’s Glamour Women Of The Year Awards, many prize-winners, such as Tess Daly, Claudia Winkleman, Jessica Alba, really turned their heads and hit the event’s red carpet with meticulously picked frocks and stunning make-ups. Now, let’s go and have an appreciation of their Dress styles.
It seems that motherhood has been treating Jessica Alba particularly well! Looking as gorgeous as ever, the Hollywood actress went for an evening dress with feminine ruffled lace straps for her attendance at this year’s GLAMOUR Women Of The Year Awards. We like how she’s given the look an edgy spin with a stud-embellished clutch – also by McQueen – and vampy burgundy nails.
Claudia Winkleman rocked her trademark full fringe as she posed on the red carpet, matching her floor-skimming vintage evening gown with a chunky silver necklace and a black clutch. The TV presenter tweeted earlier on in the evening about her make-up plan for the evening, writing: “2 full sticks of eyeliner should do it.”
We’ve missed Tess Daly being on our screens now that Strictly Come Dancing has finished for another year. However, Tess clearly has not been resting on her fashion laurels – here she is at the GLAMOUR Women Of The Year Awards in a Grecian-inspired swirl print evening dress perfectly mis-matched with a bold neon clutch and earrings by KG Kurt Geiger, and Sam Edelman’s Lorissa heels.
Lily Collins looked princess-perfect in her emerald green Alexander McQueen cocktail dress. She completed her look with vampy eye shadow, winged eyeliner and a berry lip that Snow White herself would be proud of.
5.Jessica Brown Findlay
Downtown Abbey’s Jessica Brown Findlay looked ever the lady on the GLAMOUR Women Of The Year Awards red carpet in a pretty, nude colored flower print prom dress and matching Jimmy Choos. However, with her hands in her pockets, we couldn’t help but wonder – what would the Dowager Countess say?
Jessie J had a bit of a Great Gatsby thing going on at the GLAMOUR Women Of The Year Awards 2012, rocking a sultry black-fringed dress by fellow attendee, designer Julien Macdonald. However, while her dress said 30s Hollywood starlet, Jessie’s sleek hair, black-kohled eyes and nude talons said edgy rather than ethereal.
Personally, I like Lily Collins ‘ emerald green Alexander McQueen cocktail dress best. The green color highlights her snow-white skin, making her a lovely pro. Her curled hair and matching make-up also add a sense of cuteness to her whole style.
