I cannot describe in words how Symmetry Elevating Solutions helped me with their vertical lifts. It was one the best things that I received for my accident anniversary! You must be wondering about occasion, but my accident was a life-altering incident and each member in my family was aware of the changes it brought in me.
Unless you have someone in your family or in your school, you will not know what vertical lifts are. In my class of 30 students, Josh and I are the only ones to use wheelchairs. There is vertical lift installed near the staircase and we use those whenever we have to visit the library on second floor. School is fun and despite what people think, no one in my class bothers us because we use wheelchairs.
I had trouble moving around the house. With dad often out of town on business, I had mom to help me with everything, but now that I am 15, I do not want to bother mother with all the trouble. I had kept mentioning about the vertical lift at school but never had any encouraging reply from my parents. I eventually thought that they could not afford it, so I dropped the topic after a few more weak efforts. I prepared myself to use the stairlifts for the rest of my life.
As the day to my anniversary neared, I found people working on the deck downstairs and making changes to the stairway lift. In a day or two, the stairlift was gone and I was shifted to my aunt’s house a couple of blocks down the road. I sensed a surprise coming my way but I had no idea what was happening. On the day, I had a ceremonial welcome and they gave me the best present ever.
It was one of those vertical lifts I used at school, only a hundred times better. Thanks to Symmetry Elevator and my parents, vertical lifts are here to take me anywhere I want.
