Debenu Is Trying New Automation Tool

Just as the year comes to a close, Debenu has introduced the first release candidate for a new automation tool. Debenu PDF Maximus allows users to perform configurable sets of actions (Action Lists) on PDF files, either individually or in batches.

As you might imagine, this can save lots of time across large batches of documents, and can serve a standardizing function when different users can use the same Action List. Maximus also supports Watched Folders, so that processing files can be as simple as dragging and dropping them into the appropriate folder.

Maximus allows users to configure functions like splitting, merging and cropping PDF files(pdf epub mac), including the order in which these tasks are completed. This means that its possible uses are proportional to the imagination and nous of the users. Perhaps for that reason, Debenu has unleashed the first release candidate of Maximus on the public, which is available for testing purposes only until the end of January.

As a bit of an end-of-year treat, Debenu has sweetened the pot a little, by offering a prize for those who provide feedback on Release Candidate 1 by December 31. All users need to do is try out RC1 and submit their thoughts either as a comment on the Debenu blog post, or by sending them via email to support@debenu.com. All those who send their feedback to Debenu through either channel by the end of 2011 will go into the draw to win one of five copies of PDF Explained(pdf tips: pdf password remover for mac), a new eBook about PDF from O’Reilly Media. Those who enter via blog comments will need to make sure that they include a valid email address. This article is from planetpdf.
