As First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Plc commences the process of post-merger integration planning for the bank and the newly acquired FinBank, Mr. Ladi Balogun, Group Managing Director of FCMB has assured that the best place to work frame work that is already in practice in FCMB will be extended and enhanced in the combined entity.

Ladi Balogun gave this assurance while commenting on FCMB’s acquisition of FinBank, recently.

Activities lined up to achieve this goal include training and retraining of staff bank-wide, reward and recognition of talent, strengthening of recruitment process, timely and meritocratic promotion of staff, and encouraging employee loyalty through service awards.

Our objective is to build an even stronger bank, with greater scale, improved financial performance and a more robust retail platform for driving future growth and sustainability. The combined entity will accelerate the realization of our vision, and enhance our competitive position. Additionally, we will extend and continue to enhance the “best place to work” framework for the combined entity, Ladi Balogun revealed.

He also explained, We have defined work-streams for the business segments, central functions, operations and IT. We want to early-on, join forces of both FCMB and FinBank, and have therefore appointed team members from FCMB and FinBank for each work-stream.
