The flowers, leaves, dragons, mythical animals, fish, water, and the unfading beauty of the Geisha are its most popular subjects.

All of these began when Imperial Japanese refused to be influenced by the outside world. The lack of Western influence was actually a good thing since the locals patronized what they had. Japanese fare is not only popular in the country but in other parts of the world as well.

Aside from sake, people all over the world adore sushi. The taste of wasabi is also something that people clamor for. In Japan, even the way they handle their food is an expression of their creativity.
