Summer holidays

It has been once again a long winter with some extreme weather conditions and some extreme workloads. Winter is the time when people put their mind and soul at work and it is hard to even think about summer. Still every year the summer comes and when the first signs are in the air everyone seems to be so much happier and open to all sorts of new things.

Summer holidays is the time when many families start planning their longest holiday season and usually everyone in the family has their vacation around the same time. This gives the chance for a proper family getaway for many.

I know many people who pack their cars and head for a road trip. Usually the road trip is within the Europe and is therefore quite easy because there are no bigger formalities between the countries. Currency is the same and the weather conditions are great no matter where in Europe you go.

When planning a road trip in Europe with your family there are always some things that you should take into account. One of the key elements for a successful trip is to make sure you’re car is well equipped and maintained. This way you can go with a light mind and know that you can make the journey without any extra hassle. Other thing is to make sure that you have a proper tyres (in Finnish:
renkaita) set to take you all the way. You may run into some serious rain, frogs or other elements that can affect the grip on your car just as badly as ice. What you should do is that you take your whole car into inspection at your local Vianor before the trip and tell the countries you will be driving through so that the staff in Vianor can tell whether your set of tyre is up for it or not. If something needs to be changed they can do it usually on the same day. It is a small effort when looking at the result.

Road trip is a great way to spend your family holiday, just make sure you’re car and tyres will take you home as well.
