As we discussed in the last post, I will be going over the three main items owners change when they are customizing their Ruger 10/22
rifles. In this post we are going to concentrate on the rifle stock. There is an ever growing multitude of aftermarket stocks for the Ruger 10/22. They come in a multitude of shapes, materials, uses and colors. The three main materials are solid wood, laminated wood and different types synthetics/composites. We will look at one of each but keep in mind there are many different types of each one. Choosing is based on personal taste, style of the gun and how the gun will be used. When choosing your stock as yourself questions such as: will I use my gun in inclement weather, will I shoot offhand or just from a bench, will my gun be more of a show piece.
