Studies have shown that coffee has a number of health benefits including decreasing blood sugar and lessening food cravings. It does this by decreasing the speed at which your stomach excretes food into the small intestine and by inhibiting glucose function in the liver. Therefore the health benefits outway and bad effect that caffeine have on the body. But Mike stresse that coffee should be taken in moderation and additives such as creams, artificial sweeteners and will counteract the health benefits.

Chocolate

A study in University Hospital of Cologne, Germany detected that cocoa can significantly abate high blood pressure levels. The beneficial heart effects of cocoa are attributed to its flavonoid content, specifically procyanids. Because cocoa is most commonly found in chocolate people falsely assume that consuming a lot of chocolate could be good for the health. Keep in mind that cocoa in chocolates have undergone a lot of processing, and it has been mixed with loads of sugar, so this is not totally good for your health. When eating chocolate it is best to only eatbars that have a cocoa content greater than 70% thus ensuring that sugar and milk content are kept to a minimum.
