A Wall Street investment banker who has been set up as the linchpin of his company’s mob-backed Ponzi scheme is relocated with his family to Aunt Madea’s southern home.
This movie had a lot of hilarious scenes but there was way to much sexual reference and language too be a family movie. This movie is not for kids! Although we can expect crude behavior out of these movies, it still had way to much crudeness. I don’t really know what Tyler Perry was doing when he wrote this, but this is not something that I’m used to seeing from him. Tyler Perry,? What is with all the sexual references man? I was expecting something my kids could go watch with me. Now I’m worried of bringing my kids to another one of Madea’s movies. I don’t reckon I will by the DVD but I reckon the movie needed to be a small more family friendly/Kid Friendly like you other ones
Tyler, what are you becoming or is this the real you? My family was so excited for the release that we went to the midnight showing. There are some really amusing scenes, but there is far too much foul language and sexual innuendos for the family. There are a few issues with the casting and or writing. For one Levy is a superb actor and while he did a excellent job with what was written the tale lined and supporting actors did not add up. Will not buy the DVD. There are others flaws with the script such as the church’s involvement in the Ponzi scheme, but I care not to go into it further. Not of the quality I would hope for from Tyler Perry.
This is my first Tyler Perry movie I’ve been to. I saw the trailer, thought it would have more laughs in the movie but was sadly mistaken. And to top it all off, some of the scenes in the trailer(s) were not even in the movie!! I’m not sure if this was a theater choice or what. No spoilers here but viewer beware. If you’ve scene all the trailers, you’ve seen most of the amusing parts of the movie. Sadly I reckon this will be the first AND last Madea movie I’ll pay $8+ to see. I’ll wait for them to come to TV & watch ‘em with commercials. The humor was there, I tried to delight in it and was glad when the credits started rolling. When I see a movie I like, I want it to keep going. I just couldn’t wait for this movie to end.
